Dissolving of the Council of Dons

Everything has its reasons, my dear Outcasts. From the sabotage of the Hispania, to the reforming of the Maltese govnerment. And I suppose that you, as Outcasts, have the right to know the reason behind this change. Well than, let's take a moment..

Incompetence. Arrogance. Slacking. And overall stupidity. This is what the former council was largely composed of. Some of your dons not knowing what to do in a crysis, or any situation. Using their title for all sorts of benefits outside of the actual Council, social and materialistic. Lazyness. Refusing to show up at called meetings or diplomatic discussions. Need I go on?

What has happened now is no reason to fear change. No reason to worry. Life for the regular Outcast will go on as smoothly as ever. But now, they need not fear the fact of Malta falling to a Corsair assault, because one of the Dons forgot his nuclear passcode. They need not fear rich plantation owners to claim that the govnerment is null on his land, so that those besides the slaves, become his personal propperty. They need not fear an injust or corrupt Navy. No.

All of these things, and so much more, will be exterminated. In time. And any comparison to nations that existed almost a millenia ago I find personally quite lauhgable. This is now. This is happening.
