Salut Officers of the Royal Navy.
As the time for us to proceed with the King's plans draws near, so does the need for greater efficiency and organization within the Navy. To meet these needs, the structure of the Navy is being adjusted.
The first change is that the rank of General D'Armee Navalle is being changed to Lord Marshall. Margrave de Burgundy, Bruce Montague, will retain this position. The Lord Marshall will be the second in command of the Royal Navy, operating under the orders of the King and Grand Marshal LaCroix.
The second, and most important, change is the creation of a new position. Under the Lord Marshall will be the Royal Navy's three Marshalls. These three Marshalls will have control over the three Naval divisions of Gallia; The Royal Guard headquartered in Ile-de-France and responsible for all naval operations in the Core Worlds will be put under the command of myself. The Border Guard and Pacification Division headquartered in Burgundy will remain under the command of Lord Marshall Bruce Montague. The Gallic Occupation Force will be put under the command of Marshall Blaise Mersenne.
A change is also being made to the control of System Naval Forces. Each Royal Navy-controlled system will be under the command of a single Colonel. These Colonels will serve under the command of the Marshall in command of the region that solar system is within, with the exception of Ile-de-France, which will be under the direct control of the Marshall of the Royal Guard Division, and Burgundy, which will be under the direction control of the Marshall of the Border Guard and Pacification Division. Prince Joseph will be the Colonel in charge of the Dauphine System. The Colonels in charge of the other systems will be decided upon soon.
Battleships Carcassonne and Guillestre will be under new Commandants, Maurice Delavoux and Margrave Elria Ciel respectively. All other Royal Navy stations and battleships will remain under the command of their previous Commandants.
