After a few minutes of waiting (for the referee) and organizing on the Volksfront side, both parties were ready for a 3 vs 3 fight to the death. The RFP consisted of two Phantoms and a Falcon, while the -VF) consisted of three Sabres.
The fight began with the -VF) focusing mostly on the pilot RFP|Pdt.Hildebrandt, while the RFP focused their fire on -VF)Kai.Rheindhart. Both sides began deploying Nuclear Mines while the RFP would attempt to wait to correctly time a Cruise Disrupter into the player next to the mine, hoping to set of a detonation with the opposing player in the blast radius.
The first elimination of the match was RFP|SEK-Phantom.01. -VF)Marcell.Steyner got the first blood via a nuclear mine detonation.
The second elimination of the match was RFP|Insp.Putzkanner. -VF)Daniel.Boehmer dealt the finishing blow on the Phantom with a Minirazor.
With the RFP down to one player and the -VF) with no losses, -VF)Kai.Rheindhart suggested that the event should be brought down to a 1 vs 1 duel. Both sides accepted this proposal and a duel was on. Since RFP had only four class 8 Debilitators in total, the Volksfront pilots didn't loose a single regen until this point.

It took a few minutes of dodging each others mines and CDs, with the occasional direct hit from their guns. Eventually however, the last RFP player was put out of action by a fatal hit from a Minirazor.
