Even if the magic is a little gimmicky and a biiit low of the practical level the mod adds a lot of epic quests. I actually had it installed for ages before I really stumbled into the cool stuff.
I <3 midas magic. Yeah it was gimicky, but it makes magic in oblic actualy not suck, so its more than worth it to me.
Yeah, I use the nexus for quite a few of the mods Ive used in the past.
My main problem is some of the better mods were collaborative efforts between several teams/people, and got pulled, when I had no backup of 'em', due to a single person getting mad at another.
' Wrote:Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul is a must have.
I'm not kidding, get it. It prolongs gameplay by hours and hours, adds hundreds of cool things and is generally very badass.
I may try that, its just been incompatable with a lot that Ive used before.
Ophidian, Ive tried I think at least half of those before, some are good, some are (as you noted yourself) junk (tho I'd say it was more of a....... disapointment:P)
n00bl3t....... srsly dude, get some mods and you'll see it in a whole new light (read: vanilla=Console port, modded=decent to awsome)
Dusty, the prob with the Unique Landscape mods is that they can conflict with other mods, ESPECILY ones that alter shorelines (which sucks when two conflict like that, since the vanilla game had the main river lack ANY outlet to the ocean, which was quite....... odd)
