In the config files, different lane transition and gate transition effect entries are also defined, but only the nomad and bretonian versions were ever finished.
Fairly odd if you ask me. I mean, last time I checked, the houses consider the border worlds part of their space. At least the side of it closest to them.
I figure, if they were going to pay for the lanes they own to be built to their specification they'd have all of them built to that specification. Not just the ones in systems that a Disco developer randomly decided.
I'm not sure how having all of the lanes a house owns look the same would detract from the flavor of the house. In my mind, it would actually add more flavor than only doing 80% of the lanes a house owns.
