If it's possible to do that without having to have people download something that then screws up their main game files, we'll consider doing it, because it won't hurt much.

Bur remember, first and foremost, we have to maintain the integrity of the main server and the main game files. If, since this is still a one-of event that we are not able to do that, then people can fly the ships they have available.

Also remember that we're not trying to balance things here perfectly. It's NOT NEEDED for an event, and doesn't really matter a whole lot in the main scheme of things - again, this event will only run for maybe 72 hours, and then it's done. Player base deleted. Lots and lots of ships destroyed, lots of carpal tunnel for people, and hopefully a lot of people will have had fun with it.

And I'm quite certain that when the Nomads get going, that there's going to be a LOT of people flying blue ships, to the detriment of humanity... :P
