Guten Tag. I used to be an owner operator of a mining/hauling company, but now because of pirate attacks and bounties I am about to lose everything. The bank is about to repossess my Hegemon but I have convinced them to make a deal with me. If I can get connected with a recognized faction they will work a deal out with me to keep my ship. So I would like to put forth my application to become a part of Kruger Minerals. Also I am not horrible in the combat seat. When you have flown around as much as I have and shot rocks for years your aim becomes impeccable, so if it were ever needed I could fill in for escort. I would of course like to keep my ship but if it comes down to it I will downgrade as long as I can have a job. So I will be awaiting contact, I have included my application.

Personality Traits: Very confident, doesn't worry about a whole lot. Not just because he is confident, but because he does not worry about things he cant control. Very smooth and relaxed, a "go with the flow" kind of guy. Has no problem taking a hold of the reigns if needed, but also will follow orders without question. Loves a good conversation, can enjoy the simpler things.
Biography/Story: Tym Orion was born on New London on 3.17.780. His parents were Archer and Kathi Orion. Archer Orion worked in corporate management for BMM. His job was a high paying one, the Orion family did alright. They were very protective of Tym, they even home schooled him with private tutors. Because of this Tym got a very good education but didn't have very many friends. That is probably the reason why Tym loves to conversate with people for hours. When Tym reached secondary school his parents gave in and let him attend a private academy, Tym found out that he was very athletic and charismatic. In secondary school, Tym's father got him an internship at BMM, Tym wasn't sure why but he really enjoyed the sound of they mining ships. He found them soothing, most people thought he was crazy. Tym's father made a deal with him after graduation, he told his son that he would finance a mining vessel as long as he went to a university. Tym went and got a degree in Business, Trade and Commerce. When he graduated his father fulfilled his promise and bought his son a Dacite Heavy Miner. Tym started an owner operator company that would do contract mining and hauling. He actually did quite well, his was mostly contracted by the smaller, independent companies. Since Tym started putting a good amount away, he started investing in other ships and spending his money lavishly. Even after spending as he did, after some years he finally had enough money to put a nice down payment on a Hegemon. Once Tym acquired the Hegemon it seemed like smooth sailing, until pirates starting running rampant and bounties started appearing on miners. Tym started having to miss days of work at a time because of pirate activity, and the amount he was starting to have to pay for repairs because of attacks by people trying to collect the bounty was reaping havok. He started lapsing on his insurance and finance payments. The bank started seizing assets. The bank seized almost every asset they could before it came down to the Hegemon. Tym delayed on this as long as possible because the Hegemon was the closest thing he had to children. Finally he convinced the bank to make a deal. If Tym could get official backing from a recognized faction, they would work a deal out with him to keep his Hegemon. This is all Tym has left, he won't go down easy.

Why do you want to join us? I already have a Kruger iff and id. I tried the whole indie, make tons of money strategy but it got real boring for me. I would like to mine, still make money, but I would like others to RP with. I would like to have a faction to to start forming a character off of. I also like anything to do with Rheinland, I think they are strong!

OORP test questions: Explain with Your own words what does the RP mean... Role playing means to me, immersing yourself into a character that you create and have complete control over. It lets you act ways and be people that you might not be able to be and act in your normal life. It is not a replacement for real life by any means, but it is a temporary fun distraction. Role playing also means to me that you are governed by certain limits, limits that you set. You are playing the role of someone in a story and you should act accordingly.
Why does the player gets sanctioned? The player get sanctioned because he breaks the rules. And the rules are not there to limit his fun, they are there to protect everyone else's fun.
