Her pod drifted aimlessly, oxygen was draining fast through a hull breach. The last thing she saw was a bright flash before the darkness closed in around her. It was so dark... and cold... time to let go.

"You were always weak, a scared little girl in an officers uniform" A voice came from the darkness but whos?

"You got the Ontario destroyed and the ThunderBay... you are a disgrace, its just a shame I couldn't be the one to kill you" She recognized the voice, it was Decker.

"James? how can you be here?"

"I'm not.. but I don't expect you to understand, I have evolved far past anything you can comprehend"

"I did what I had to do to protect those under me...."

" No this is only the beginning, you've done nothing but throw away your pathetic life..."

His voice faded... it was dark and quiet now... she felt herself slipping away...

*Thunk*

"Over here! she's still alive!" a faint voice came from somewhere near, then nothing.

*Awhile Later*

Her eyes slowly opened. There was a faint light, but it was still dark. She slowly stood and brought her hand up to her forehead. The wound had been patched up, but her head still ached.. badly. She scanned her surroundings.. she was in a very small room. There was one door, with a bit of light shining through from the cracks. There was no bunk, just an empty room.

She turned to the door and inspected it closely, heavy steel, no handles on the inside... this was a prison of some sort. Where was she? who had rescued her? and then imprisoned her?

*click* The door creaked open, she stepped back and covered her eyes to let them adjust to the light flooding in, 3 dark figures stood in the light. Two wore navy uniforms, the third wore a suit.

"Ah Admiral Porter, so nice of you to wake up right on time... oh and don't think of escaping or anything... Gus here can be rather mean.." the man in the suit said with a chuckle.

"Now there is quite a bit we'd love to discuss with you" he stepped into the room, she instinctively stepped back a little

"Oh come now Jessica, can I call you Jessica? I won't harm you unless absolutely necessary"

"Just who are you?" she demanded

"We are... well a special branch of your former government I'd say..." he pulled out a recorder "Now tell us everything about your associations with the Order"

"I won't tell you anything" she protested

"Well thats a shame.. a damn shame.. I'd hate to harm a nice specimen such as yourself... ah well.. lets get started" He stepped forward and took a needle out of his pocket " Guards, please restrain her"

She tried to fight them, but they overpowered her, the needle didn't hurt going in, but it was apparent what their goals were, they'd torture her for information, but she'd resist...
