corsairs are partial descendants of greeks. thats not really far from turkey, for example. people with turkish origin, names and culture might be failry common in greece, and thus could be on the sleeper ship. np.

i wouldnt be surprised if people of arabic origins were on the rheinland, tbh. or the liberty, for that matter.

Some people forgot everyone lives everywhere in the world these days and even more in the futhure.
So people from the middle-east could have been in de Bretonia, Rheinland, Liberty, Hispania, Gallia,...

Anyway in the futhure we will have everyone living everywhere.

Although about the religion part...

When people talked about christians everyone was like:

So I suggest the same with any other earthly religion.
Lets keep it to Freelancer religions only. Nomads, cardie, artifacts etc.
