Aralie tries to fall back to sleep, but the Doctor slaps him. "Stay awake! We need to know what happened." The doctor slips Aralie a pill, and says: "Take that, it'll numb the pain." Aralie sits up and doesn't feel pain, just tiny pulls. Aralie hazily recalls the events.
"Three weeks ago I was called to the intel office. I was told i would be going solo on this mission. My objective was to explore a system through this uncharted Jump Hole. I thought it was strange Executive Commander Mori or Supreme Commander Kai Thastus hadn't gave me prior notice, but I didn't think much of it, as excitement outweighed common sense. It was a chance to find and name a system and gain eternal glory."
"I was told to follow the waypoints sent to my computer to the jump hole and record every event of the way. I quickly packed up on supplies and headed out without telling anyone. The strangest thing that occurred was bounty hunters trying to stop me when no one but myself and intel knew about this mission. Also people tried to stab and shoot me in bars. I also had a hard time breathing inside my cockpit. I was determined and nothing would stop me."
"I made contact with no one during the trip, though I did go to call intel a few times for more information, but the sender of the mission was never there. It was about 22 days after I left that I received a transmission from Mactan Base. It was my Co-Pilot that I had left at Phoenix shipyard. He said intel data had been hacked and that the mission I was on led to a system that had a sun so big it occupied the whole system. It was too late as I was already in the jump hole. My Co-pilot said he had been working on this new technology that could create small temporary jump holes with a generator attached to your ship. I had taken the ship before he got to test it, however. I told him he might as well try because if i didn't work I'd die anyway. That was the last thing I remember."
