An Overheard Conversation in the Tripoli Bar

- "So you want to join the Black Sails? What makes you think you are the kind of material, they would accept among them? I've seen you rookies work - shaking hands, nervous voice, uniforms reeking of sweat - or worse... The Sails are ruthless, efficient, and deadly. They strike fast, get what they can, get out. Simple, yet it takes time to master."

Raul Alfonso looked at the Corsair standing in front of him with his old eyes. He looked tired already, and it was only afternoon. He might be a bartender now, but he had his moments when he was younger.

- "I know some of those men back from the OPG. Surprised? There is more to this old drunkard, than meets the eye."

The Tripoli bartender smiled and took a sip of his glass. The brownish substance disappeared from it, as he savored it's taste. He then looked back at the Corsair he was talking to:

- "Si, I know how you can get in touch with them. They use Cadiz and Etna, I hear. Try looking there. Their Sovereign, himself, brings shipments of goods to this base quite often, and he stops in the bar, to relax a bit, every time. I have this information from him, directly. But they will want proof that you can do well in supplying the Empire. If I were you, I'd bring them something you took from our enemies. I think some materials to repair their veteran ships would be good.", Raul winked. "You know, hull plating, gold, high-temperature alloy, silver, superconductors, multiplexors, optical chips, engine parts ... that kind of stuff. I guess that the more you bring, the more dedication you show. Think about it. Leave a message with the goods, for example at the docking bay or bar crews. They will forward it to the Sails. Just leave the message and go on with your own business. Don't worry, they will find you if they are interested. They are good at hunting people down, I hear."
