they are a large factor reguarding lag not to mention Server strain.

No, the moment the server load increased, the NPCs decrease, and currently the server is as stable as it
has ever been in its entire existence. Anything you call lag is more likely to be loss due to your internet
connection, and associated ISP problems ... Quit blaming the server please, and NPCs for other failings.
