All has been reletively quiet recently, I have spent a large ammount of time on drilling the crew of the Acre for every possible scenario we may face, so as we may as ready for battle as possible.
However, today a distress call came in from some of our officers near the Beuvrey, apparently, a pair of Maquis ships were causing considerable dammage to our patrols in the area. I, along with a number of Police fighter pilots were scrambled and sent to investigate and detain or destroy the Maquis.
When we arrived at the scene, we found the wreckage of several Police and Navy fighters along with the Maquis pilots, who were engaging a lone Navy officer. They were no doubt aces, being able to do that ammount of dammage before we could arrive.
As soon as we arrived, we engaged them in support of the lone pilot, but found that, for their aged and outdated ships, they were able to do more dammage than most of our pilots could in their brand new Lynxes. Eventually, they began to wear down our armour, and destroyed a pair of our ships before too long. However, I was able to land an Anti-Matter shot on one of their ship's hull, destroying it, and forcing the other pilot to fall back.
I did not manage to obtain any scans of their ships before engaging, however, I did manage to pick up the destruction signature of one of their ships.
After the battle, most of our ships had sustained dammage of various degrees, and we were running out of fuel, as such we were forced back to the Beuvrey for repairs and re-arming.
Thus concludes my report, hopefully I will be able to see more action of this sort soon.
