Today yet more victories were scored against the corrupt and self-serving Royal Police! This time, not through force of arms or the implicit threat of violence, but through cunning and wit. The true Republique way, non? After undocking from Macon, I ran a quick patrol around Djion's approximate area, finding the area devoid of activity, save a lone Vache Train. Given that the ship was evidently a civilian venture I cheerfully greeted him good day and passed on.

Upon returning to Macon, the comm operator patched a signal through to me, from the Sirian 'Bretonian' Charles_D'White. I did not ever meet the individual, however he claimed that he was a commander of the "43rd Bretonian VHF Infantry". I spent a short while explaining about the King's madness and how we were opposing him. At first he was not sure of our affiliation, so I was sure to enlighten him of our revolutionary ideals:

Charles_D'White: Your funny
RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Now, I trust you are here to lend assistance to the Republique?
RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: After all, your Bretonia shall suffer if the Royalists can complete their schemes.
Charles_D'White: Wait...so you are Council
RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: Oui. The Republique.
Charles_D'White: Got it
RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: We are fighting to depose a tyranous and insane king, and install a republic of the people, for the people.
RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper: A noble goal, non?

Soon after, a Royalist Police pilot gave an announcement over a system wide frequency. None other than Brigadier Leon Chevalier - a combatant of last night's battle, in which the Royalists were utterly routed. After this, the Siran had to take the back seat, as I turned my attention to the loud-mouthed officer.

The following is the exact comm recording of the events as they transpired. I uploaded them to a separate data source on Macon in order to spare this server's processors. Listen carefully. You can hear the barely controlled frustration in his voice.

Personally, I'm of the impression that the above should be printed into a pamphlet and distributed to our, ah... Young 'Resistance Fighters', so they can be given out to the peoples of Gallia. It might enlighten them as to how the GRP reacts under pressure.

Monsieurs and mesdames, rest assured, the monarchy is in a similar state to monsieur Chevalier. It appears to be a rock on first sight - full of bluster and hollow threats. But as soon as pressure is applied, it will chip, flake and crack. Victory is a matter of time, oui?
