Kaze was busy and greased beyond recognition on the ship bay of the Ranger, busy fixing the last bit of her Nyx.
Pretty shot up from her last engagement against a couple of Liberty Gunboats, she always tried to keep her ship in tip top condition.
Viva, who had entered the bay, looked at the Nyx, all opened up, and smirked.
She walked to it and gave a small nudge with her feet on one of the wings, making it wiggle a little.
"Ey! People in here!" Kaze shouted, leaving one of the engine exhausts.
Viva laughed as she saw the 'ex-colonial', as she calls it, filled with engine grease all around.
"What do you want Viva? Anything wrong?"
Kaze asked, hopping down from the engine exhaust and cleaning the grease from her face.
"Oh nothing." She looked at the Nyx with a clinical eye.
"You know, i always wondered why you like to fly this ship, and why the hell you keep those three"
Viva pointed at a cargo container to the side."Nyxes over there on 'ice'."
Kaze chuckled, and proceeded to place a hull panel under the wing.
"What can i say? It's small, it packs a punch, and can dodge a lot of capital fire, since it isn't bulky as the Sabre or the Eagle.
Plus, i bought six of these before leaving the Taus. All Colonial issues."
"Si.. I can see why you keep them close. Always good to have spares, no?"
Viva replied, and look behind her as the Highwayman and a couple of the Ranger's crew carried a big box in direction of Kaze's Nyx.
"Hm. True. But why are yo-"
Kaze's voice was cut mid sentence when the crew dropped the box near the Nyx.
"Be careful, you two! That's an Inferno! Not a baseball bat!" Highwayman shouted on their ears.
"What the hell?" Kaze asked, leaving the hull panel half placed in the wing. "What's this for?"
"Just a small business from me." Viva grinned. "Care to make a deal, si?"
"Keep talking." Kaze watched as Highwayman nodded and start looking at the Nyx. He then disappeared inside of the cockpit.
"I'll give you one Inferno. Great against the capitals you face everyday, si? I also asked Blue to coax Highwayman to try and.. make the technology compatible.
In return.. I want one of your Nyx." Viva nudged her head in direction of the container.
Kaze didn't even flinched. "You got yourself a deal."
She grabbed Viva's hand and shook it, effectively dirtying it with engine grease.
Viva looked at the hand, obviously not amused, and looked at the grinning Kaze.
"Call it a even deal, qui'aff?"
