It's always the same people that complain. And it's obvious you got killed quickly, since you were outside a freeport, believing that no one could fire on you. So why dodge if you don't expect anything to happen. If you actually were dodging, the bomberpilot would probably have a harder time hitting you with sn.

And the sn isn't overpowered in my opinion. If it wasn't there, everyone would fly capital ships, since that's the only way to kill the opponent who's also flying a capital ship. Offcourse if capital ships were restricted to say 2-3 per official faction (so indies wouldn't be able to fly them), the need for supernova's would drop. But then the bomber becomes just an ultraheavy fighter, instead of an anticapital ship.

"It's always the same people that complain" every other post on this forum is either asking for clarification on an issue or asking for/offering help with somthing, this is the first post i've made about balance issues. killed quickly? like i said i wasn't killed at all, and i respect your opinion that it's not overpowered, but saying it's the only way; i did give 3 other scenarios where capital ships could be defeated by other means, but realism is not feasable with the limited number of players on the server at any given time. As for cap-ship restriction, i'm all for it but limitting to 3 caps per faction is a bit much...

EDIT: and i think idies should still be able to buy cruisers and larger cap ships even if their number is restricted, but they would have to fly iny ships such as battlestars or... well there isn't really a civillian type cruiser (maybe the talarca)
