Constructing new stations

Kharon, both of those are Gate construction sites, not station ones. You'll note that both sites are full stations as well. Why build a station if making a gate is just as easy? As Dusty mentioned, stations seem to be built much more frequently than jump gates, so it's likely that building them is far easier than making jumpgates, since the gates need the fancy Ageira-made parts.

That, or gate building sites have really lazy workers/robots.
