An informant of ours on the Corsairs Yaren base in Omicron Delta has reported that the PD nadesico has been lost with all hands while attampting to use a Jumphole to avoid a Nomad patrol. No wreckage has been found so far on either side of the Jumphole.

Our informant witnessed the incident and reported that he thinks the ship suffered a major engine malfunction.

An unoffical statement from Agiera Technologies has commented that it is possible the ship was misplaced due to the engine malfunction and is adrift and helpless somewhere near any other Jumphole. Their offical statement is:

"we have warned people several times not to use Jumpholes until we have finished our research into whether they are completely safe. Personally it is their own fault for using a Jumphole.

This provoked outrage amongst the families of the victims and they have demanded an offical apology from the head of Agiera Technologies.
