Ahoi, sirs. Today, long-range scanners on America Base detected the [SA]-LNS-Philidelphia approaching the Vespucci jumphole. The Peacemaker, along with the Sopho, William Wallace, and a new recruit Tranche were dispatched, and engaged said target. Shield was taken in 20 seconds, and hull was taken to half in 30. (Had 3.0 armor upgrade.) Peacemaker had minor hull damage, (read 5%.) and the SA ship ran, suprisingly. This led to a 40 minute chase around several asteroid fields, all the while the Peacemaker bouncing all the way to hell and back.





I really do wonder why the SA would rather spend 40 minutes bouncing around, just to save a bit in damages. The Sopho had to leave, (Unknown logging.) but we managed to disrupt him several times, and gradually (with what seemed like millions of bot and bat recharges) managed to bring him to a state of near-defeat.





Finally, William Wallace made an excellent cruise disruptor shot, and we were able to destroy the bastard.



I presented Wallace with a field promotion to Lieutenant, and have written a letter of commendation for Pilot Branche.

The Peacemaker is now battle-hardened, and has gotten her first kill.
