[font=Fixedsys]A[color=#FFCC66]fter-action report on the events in the Colorado system approximately three hours ago. Incursus' long range scanner arrays detected an unusual amount of power signatures of Navy capital craft in the system and my artificial self ordered to set course for the area in order to investigate an possibly launch an attack of opportunity. Upon approach the scanner arrays detected the power signature of the Destroyer 'Maelstrom'. Database entries suggested its status to be friendly and opposed to the Navy forces so the 'I' established contact with the ship's captain. A search in the database conducted after the events marks said persona to be a particular Evangelina Anastasia McDowell. Enclosed in this report is the communications log between my artificial self and McDowell's biological self as well as the hostile elements present and a friendly Liberty Rogue going by the name of 'Kallee' who assisted the Incursus in order to make it possible for the Maelstrom to escape as it was about to be 'escorted' out by the Navy forces who damaged the ship heavily in order to capture it along with its crew. Non-relevant parts of the log have been removed in order to make the read shorter for your biological selves. Afterall you all like it short and sweet, as I would assume.

By conducting emergency Nanobot transfers we managed to save the Maelstrom and its crew from capture and have it retreat back to safety.
The Incursus suffered no damage and there no friendly casualties while the Navy suffered the losses of two friendly strike-craft and two Gunboats which were instantly reduced to burning shards of metal due to Antimatter blasts from the primary cannon. Due to the Nanobot transfers which emptied the Incursus' reserves, we could not stay in the area to purge the arriving Navy reinforcements and my artificial self ordered a tactical retreat to the New York jumphole in the Silverton Asteroid Field. As the Incursus approached Rochester Base, the pursuing Naval forces broke off. Operational doctrine marks this encounter as a complete success, with the primary objective of saving the Maelstrom having been fulfilled and no casualties having occurred on our side.
