i wasn t comparing lawful hunters and unlawful hunters...

i was comparing the simplicity of being a pirate and the complexity of being a hunter.

the natural enemy of the pirate is the police - with the hunter being the substitude or the alternative enemy in specific situations. - yet the hunter, no matter if lawful or unlawful has to perform much more work to acomplish similar results.


lets say - a situation involves a pirate and a hunter.

what is needed for each of them to attack the other person:

- the pirate needs to open fire after applying sufficient RP ( which can be a sentence or in the simplest cases - an acknowledgement that the hunter is a general enemy )

- the hunter needs to consult the boards if he is allowed to attack, he has to keep making screenshots, he has to post that he was aware of the bounty and is attempting to take it.



- when the pirate killed the hunter - he moves on, not looking back

- when the hunter kills the pirate - he will need to post his deeds on the forum.



while all of that might be what a serious RPer would do anyway - the point is .... the pirate can do some spontanous roleplay - and take life quite easy. - the hunter however must not make a mistake - cause a misake can result in a sanction - chances to be sanctioned / punished as a hunter are greater than chances that a pirate gets sanctioned for the same situation.
