Question about comm usage ingame

I have a BWT, and have 15 crew members working on it.
1. Should i use comm with a persons name first? (Like "Richard: Same to you XXX")

2. Is it better RP to do so?

3. Isnt it clear, that not the ship speaks, but one lady or gentleman from the crew?

4. What is the RP benefit from it, apart from bringing another name into the chat?

5. Isnt it annoying, to type a name infront of each chat message?

6. Other reasons?
I saw chats like that months or maybe a year ago for the first time:

Trader:"Regards, Ladies and Gentlemen"
Lib-Navy-Anonymus:"Robert: Always safe skies to yourself"

Or similar.

So, what is better style for a BWT trader with 15 crew members?

In short, the better style's the one you prefer.

I myself do not RP crew members, as I find it illogical that anyone but a captain would be allowed to use the system/local comm channels.

But I don't mind people doing it...
