Is that the right way to understand this?

Not quite.

Joe (Admiral Hale) went on a ragefit against the order for several indy order caps going into alaska and new york, some of which included the TCG. The Order decided that we would pull back our capital ships from alaska (but leave fighters to continue doing what we do there), in order to avoid a large scale conflict with the liberty navy - because such a conflict is one that we cannot afford right now, we're already fighting wars on three fronts.

In-game, there was an incident regarding this where waratah and his members of the TCG insulted the liberty navy (including hale, and some could say that insulting was taken out of RP), and spoke words that were intentionally said to ignite a war that the rest of the order does not want. We have screenshots of exactly what he said, and there can be no doubt that he was trying to antagonize liberty into attacking.

Tommy, the leader of the Order| and OHC, responded in-game in order to diffuse the situation, calm everyone down, and stop a fight from breaking out. He ordered waratah and the TCG to stand down in order to prevent a war with liberty, waratah turned his ire towards tommy and proceeded to shoot down three (I believe it was 3, I wasnt online at the time so I only had the screens to look at) order| ships, including tommy's admiral.

This is not the first time such an incident has happened. Months ago, the TCG and LN were in alaska at one another's throats, on the verge of starting a large scale fight, when I logged on with my order admiral (who happened to be at atum at the time). I attempted to do the same then as what tommy did here, diffusing the fight by ordering the TCG to stand down and either dock with atum or return to minor. Waratah's osiris fired on me, and a fight broke out where the Order and Liberty Navy were both fighting the TCG, Joe (admiral hale) was there at that incident as well and can vouche for what happened.



I spoke with waratah about a month after that incident, when it looked like he and his faction were getting their act together. I complimented him on such, and he said (and I quote) "Thank you, it really means a lot to me hearing you of all people say that". Not two weeks after that we had another incident where the TCG were firing at Order| ships.

This is the third time that the TCG have not only disregarded orders, attempted to ruin order diplomacy, and subverted the authority of both the OHC and Order| leader - but also fired upon and destroyed Order Independent and Order| Faction vessels when they didnt get their way.

This behavior has been tolerated long enough, and it was finally decided after this most recent event to put together the evidence for a faction right 5 against the TCG. It's not like we havent given waratah and his people plenty of chances - more than we give most individual players who screw up - but he continually acts in the same manner which is detrimental to the order as a whole.



I had requested that their Order ships be removed and replaced with civilian grade ships, due to exile, but apparently that didnt happen. I do, however, expect them to gradually get rid of order-aligned ships in favor of open market craft as time goes on, none of them have the resources or parts to keep their ships working in and out of battle.
