The following conversation took place in Michael Trenton's Office:

Jeffrey Adams, Chief Security Officer:

Micheal Trenton was looking outside his window when he heard somebody knocking on his door.
He recognized the rhythm with that of Jeffrey Adams, and remained looking outside his window.

''Come in it's open.'' Micheal Trenton said loudly.
The door slowly then opened. ''Hey Jeff, take a seat.'' Micheal Trenton then said with his back still turned towards the door.
Jeffrey Adams grinned. ''How'd you know it was me?'' he then said.
''There's only one man who knocks like that, couldn't have figured anyone else.'' Micheal Trenton said and turns to take his seat behind his desk, he makes a gesture towards Jeffrey Adams to start talking.

There was a small moment of silence..

''I-I.. We.. The uhh..'' Jeffrey starts to mumble. ''Hey, get your head together and tell me whats up.'' Trenton replied.
''The point is.. I hardly know where to start, work has been keeping me so occupied that I hardly had any time left to get my own things straight.. you know?'' Jeffrey said, Trenton nods and awaits the complete story.
''Naomi just called me.'' Jeffrey said. ''Oh, how is she doing nowadays anyway?'' Trenton replied.
''She's fine, she was starting her training within the LSF, but she just told me trough the phone that she discovered something that would change everything.'' Jeffrey said. ''And that is?'' Trenton said. ''That's what I said to her.. she's pregnant Micheal.'' Jeffrey said.
For a moment none of the two knew what to say, until it was Micheal Trenton who broke both their thoughts.
''It's yours.. right? I mean..'' Trenton said with hesitation. ''Yes it's mine, she's only been pregnant for about three weeks now, she's back for a couple of month's, there's no chance it's from somebody else.'' Jeffrey said. ''Okay, okay. So.. what now?'' Trenton asked.
''That exact question goes trough my own mind right now as well. Naomi has quit her training and is coming back any day now, she cannot go trough a training that rough when she's pregnant. I myself got thinking, I'm becoming a father Micheal, a father. I want the best for my child as any other parent, but I don't think Liberty is the right place for us to start a family.'' Jeffrey said.
''What do you mean by that?'' Trenton replied. ''Well, look around you Micheal, there is a constant threat of criminal activity right in front of our base, there's drunken cruiser captains, some even talk strange! The Navy has their hands full protecting only Manhattan, while Fort Bush is taking a pounding of never ending fleet sized criminal waves of terror. And if that wasn't enough they also have to push back a invading house? I don't want my child to grow up in a world of war, murder, torture, silliness and even slavery, I got to realize that Liberty has become a giant ball of chaos. Same goes for all houses, Rheinland is my enemy, Kusari has a ton of Terrorists and even Outcasts invading continually, and their government never has been hospital towards us Libertonians. Bretonia has put all their forces towards the front lines in Leeds, while the Corsairs have now free access to invade from Cambridge. I'm telling you, everywhere you look there is war, there is fighting, killing, pain and horror.'' Jeffrey said but got interrupted by Micheal.
''So.. yeah, I guess your right but.. what are you suggesting? Your family lives here in California after all, you want to abandon them to?'' Micheal said.
''That's..'' Jeffrey said and struggles keeping his emotions together.
''On my 16th birthday I got ripped away from my family, it tore our whole family apart, my lil' sis her death, mother in coma.. I couldn't stay there pretending like nothing ever happened, I had to leave okay!'' Jeffrey said while releasing some of his hidden anger.
''Okay okay, I'm sorry I did not meant it offending at all, I'm just wondering what your plans now are. But I can see why you don't know yet, your career and your family are both here, Liberty is your home, yet you don't want to grow up a child in this world which I can understand. I'll tell you what, go to the bar and get a nice big cup of coffee, give me half a hour to collect my thoughts and we will continue this conversation, okay?'' Trenton said.
''Yeah, sure.'' Jeffrey said, stands up and leaves Trenton's office.

Later at the Bar...

After Michael Trenton finished doing what he had to do, he walks into the bar. "Excuse me." He said to the bartender. "Do you know where I can find Jeffrey Adams?" He asked as he looked around. "Uh, Mr. Trenton! It's nice to see you, sir! I think I saw Chief Adams enter one of the rooms over there." The bartender replied. Michael noded at him and walked over to the private rooms. The rooms were sound proof with a keycard access. That way if anyone uses it for other reasons, the Department of Security will find out.
He looks to see if any of the rooms are occupied, and finds one.

"Adams, I'm sorry I kept you waiting." Michael says right after he opened the door to the room. "It's okay... I've just been wondering what I should do, you know?" Jeffrey said in a deppressing manner. "First off, you need to get out of this mood. Secondly, I called some people and found a place for you and your family." Michael said as he sat down across from where Jeffrey sat. "Where? Where in Liberty could I go that would be safe?!" Jeffrey yelled. "Calm down now, it's not in Liberty." Jeffrey looked at Michael, confused. [/i]"Then where?"[/i] Jeffrey asked. "Planet Gran Canaria in the Omega-49 System. It's populated by mostly Zoners and Corsairs, but it's safe there." Michael said to Jeffrey as he looked him in the eye. "Planet Gran Canaria?" Jeffrey pauses, "I haven't thought of that.." Jeffrey looks down and rubs his eyes. "You wanted a place that what be safe for your family and that you could keep your job here at Universal. This works out, all we need to do is contact the Zoners there and ask if they'll accept you and your family." Michael explained, "Once you're there you can help out the Miners in Dublin for work, until you're family is settled and you can travel to work in New York and California."

Jeffrey looks up to Michael and says, "Thanks Michael, I need to think about this. Care to join me at the bar? Maybe I need a drink to clear my head.." Michael stands up and says, "Sure, Jeff. Lets go over there."
