Mike, the issue is not what the GRN allows the Unione Corse to do, but what the Admins allow the Unione Corse to do.

The [UC] in fact has few civilian characters with neutral rep to the lawfuls and zero crime history, yet we don't play them as we can't do much with them right now (like it's written down in the creation request)

edit: Also, yes, as above. Naval Bases weren't ever part of the discussion. Smuggling through military camps, yay.

I know that it's about the admins, just pitching in what we're doing right now. Might help, might not.

I'm not so sure that the King wouldn't be sponsoring the UC: how perfect to have a squad of dirty-handed hitmen for 'wetwork'? they rely on his patronage for their survival, and so are intensely loyal.... very useful for a king who rules over a corrupt system with an iron fist

The only thing corrupt about the king's system is the GRP, and some individuals in the corporations. The GRN is as "pure" as can be. Corruption leads to execution. Talking bad about the crown leads to execution.

As for the UC. They're not exactly 100% loyal to the crown. Differs per "faction/family" or individual. Certain groups that have proved themselves to be 100% loyal to the crown might be hired.
