[font=Georgia]A quick patrol in the tau 23 area was pretty intense on this cycle. In fact i saw Multiple attempt of smugglers which I discouraged , the list of the ones I remember are: Lawrys, Twisted.Git , Nataliel Volker and Hawthorn. Since they weren't direct threat to the miners, I just warned them and in some case made some severe tolls. I did not take any chance because we have some issue with the Junkers in this sector. After some hunting in tau 37, I contacted =CR= Nibbler to warn him about the intense smuggler's activity. We made a blockade at the tau 37 Hump hole. It took a moment before someone went into the trap but when It did we got a bigger fish then we expected. A Slave Liner piloted by Sneaky Dumping .Marcus told me he never saw such an armored transport with so many turrets. Together we finally ended the nightmare of the thousands of slaves inside that evil ship, The massive transport collapsed at about 5K of Freeport 10. We saved around 1500 Humans out of 4000 and all of them from a terrible life awaiting them at Malta

Marcus Reported Minor Hull damage in the combat, the shield generator was fairly intact and Nibbler has made it without a scratch, I am now docked at Java for ship inspection.

LOG number 7

I was planning to do my regular patrol. A soon as I was in open Space, I got contact by an important group of outcasts. After the usual low class insult by them, I asked Marcus if we could try the brand new bomber on a real combat scenario. Hopefully for me ( =CR=Cloud , =CR=Triton and a bit after =Cr=Erinnes ) a hold formed by 1 Carrier, and 1 fighter was on my side of my bomber. The outcast forces was composed of 3 Tridente 2 ''Sabre'' and 1 ''virage'' with the addition of 1 Destroyer incoming from Malta. The Carrier quickly get rid of 1 of the Gunboat ([color=#990000] Killer.2) and I started shooting Torpedoes at the other 2 gunboats. I had several unsuccessful shot , 1 after the other they perished (Slodge , Ol' Bastard)

Meanwhile the 3 fighters decided to flee, The Fighters on my side called me to get the approaching Destroyer ([color=#990000]Valletta_Outpost). I got a dozen of hit on it. It went down like a weak prey. I remember them making fun of Img '' as little miners' but they quickly became the offended. None of us received significant damage, It is a triumph. With Marcus as a co-pilot, we headed back to the dock of Java.

LOG number 8

On my personal Nyx, I was still doing some simulation. When I was in open space in tau 23, I encountered freelancer-510. He did not know that he was stealing our gun boat technology. I found out that the pilot was unexperienced and explained him.

Meanwhile, I contacted a local miner , [color=#990000]IMG-Jack.fender[M] (I did saw him earlier)
, in order to be sure everything was in order. I have to say that the tau were unusually peaceful. I have decided to do my first recon in tau 37 then in omicron alpha just to have a look. In alpha I quickly turned around, there was a typical hight bandits activity.

Back in tau 23, IMG-Jack.fender[M] asked for an escort, which I accepted. So he called a transport (IMG-Madeison[T])Nothing bad happened on the travel to new-Berlin. I mean nothing interesting or notable. We reached Berlin and I received 10 millions as a payment. My transport had to refuel, and I went back to the tau's at my zone of influence. Oh I did see an important group of [Convoy] transporting refugees in 3 ships, with 2 gun boats as escort. It is a good thing to see that I am not the only one seeking freedom for the humanity.
