Though he had no interior plans, the pictures had shown three levels of windows, and at least this basement. From the decorum of the rooms, he guessed that anyone living here would be the hired help. The first three rooms of the basement were simply for storage, quick peeks through a cracked door confirmed it. As he approached the fourth, snoring could be heard from within. Clif had help outside, so he decided to bypass the basement and leave it to Mrs. Hughes. He unlocked the front door and keyed his radio, "Diana, I'm wantin' ya to cover their basement, I'm movin' on up ta the upper floors. I know, don' sound like much, but I think that you'll find a few targets, so stay on them toes." His feet padded up the stairs as quietly as Clif could manage.

The stairs led to a stark hallway, several toys littered the ground and Clif was careful not to step on any. "Business," he reminded himself, and hurried down to the first door. It was painted a baby blue, with a pink one opposing. He started with the blue door, and it opened noiselessly into a cluttered room. Toys of all sorts were splayed out on the floor with seemingly no organization existing in the room. "Almost smells like my place," Clif laughed quietly. He unrolled a strip of foam tape and approached the sleeping figure. His internal fight against guilt was put on hold has he clenched his teeth and forcibly covered the boy's mouth. The expected struggling ensued, but there's only so much a ten year old can do against a determined Rogue. In no time, the child was bound and taped while his wild eyes tried to make sense of what had happened.

"And now the girl," he softly said. It was a short trip across the hall to the pink room, and Clif was gaining confidence. The nervousness that always accompanied such a dangerous mission was beginning to wear away with each success. The pink door quietly gave way to a much better kept room, but with the same results. And then there were two squirming children, taped to the floor of the blue room. Clif was already ascending to the next and final floor, leaving the bundles of joy for later. "I hope Diana can handle herself..."
