I was the commanding officer at the scene of the battle, and I apologize if what I did seemed wrong, but I was acting out of the interests of the Brotherhood. I know this may seem a bit far fetched at first, but hear me out.
Us getting the Hellfire legion to do our bidding is essentially free labour for us. And think about it. Them allied to the Outcasts, helping the Brotherhood, against the treacherous Sirius Federation scum? Not good for them, especially since they are working against their allies, for their enemies.
You see, diplomacy is sometimes a good thing. Though i despise it, I take a grim pleasure in sowing discord and discontent in the ranks of those allied against us. You see, now the Outcasts and those others against us will be asking where the Hellfire Legion's loyalties really lie. If we can break up their alliances, essentially from the inside out, then we automatically gain the advantage in strength, as their forces are no longer united.
This action is dishonourable, I will agree. But since when have the Hellfire Legion been worthy of our respect or honour?
Please see my reasoning Pedro, that my actions earlier today may have hindered greatly the Outcast alliances against us. Maybe the Lane Hackers will be cut out of it all together, you never know... One can only hope for the best, I suppose.
