Among this group was Emilio Torres. By this time he had become an integrated part of the Brotherhood, so much so that no one even remembered his storied past. He was moving up fast. With his infiltration of Republican Shipping, his continued donations to the cause and now his commision as a gunboat captain, it seems he has finally found a place in this Galaxy.

As the Brotherhood sat around toasting Brother Costello's appointment as the newest Elder, brother Torres seemed aloof, disconnected somehow from the joyouse occasion. You see after a few successful campaigns against the GoR, his gunboat had just almost been destroyed by a single SF bomber.

"What's the matter brother?" one of the other Brotherhood members approaches him.

"I have never flown a gunboat before, and after my engagement today with the SF, apparently Im not very good at it. I mean I got his shields down several times and pushed his hull down to 50% but he kept comin back and eventually I exhausted all of my bats an bots and had to run like a little b****h. Not happy my brother, not happy."

"Don't worry Emilio, you'll get the hang of it." The brother pats him on the back and returns to the celebration. Torres shakes it off and congratulates Elder Castillo toasting him with his drink of choice... tequila of course.
