Ishikawa Hideaki

[Stuffz]

The rain was pouring down on Honshu. 12 years old now, Hideaki was currently occupied with ancient poetry.
Staring at the page infront of him, he tried to make some sense out of these words written more than a millenium ago.

His father directed him to this particular poem, as a response to the death of his grandmother. And now Hideaki was trying to find out how this should help him.
Staring at his palms he mused about the first verse. Obachan's hands had been so different from his.... Full of wrinkles, whereas his where still untouched by time.

He sighed quietly and put the page away, walking over to the large window of his room. He sat down infront of it and stared out into the rain, not sure what he was supposed to feel.
And as the thick drops ran down the window it occured to him that human life was just like these drops.
Falling into life per chance, it would go slowly at first, making the first few inches.
And the further it went, the faster it would go, merging with other drops, picking up experiences until it finally would reach the end .. and vanish.
