The engines flared a ghastly blue, the Obstinate coasting through open space with an eery grace. A squadron of Serval class fighters flew in tight formation at the tips of its stubby wings, clinging to it like lampreys to a shark. On the side of the massive vessel was engraved the name Terrible in an elegant gothic print. Underneath it was the artistic and colorful symbol of the Gallic Royal Police.

The bridge was set like a stage, a large circular platform in the center with a walkway leading to a set of armored doors that led out. Around this platform was a trench that held a plethora of seats, all manned with men and women who served as the ship's operating system. Each wore a holotainment band, their heads set forward in a trance like stare as their fingers danced over holographic controls set below their hands.

The main feature of the ship was the center of this 'stage'. A holotank sat in the dead center of the platform, an incorporeal and scaled down version of the system rotating above it. Directly behind it was an elegant command chair that was currently occupied.

Despite her rather constricting clothing, she sat with her left leg propped over her right. The dress she wore covered her legs entirely, stopping just above her feet to reveal the pearl-white high-heel shoes. The dress itself was white with a black floral print, the trim done in a dark blue. The sides were split just below the knees, allowing more elegant movement. She wouldn't allow herself to be held up in a tube like all the prissy nobles. Her hands were folded in her lap, holding tightly to the cane that had become the only thing she could rely on to never fail her. Her arms were clad in full sleeve gloves that matched the pattern of her dress, leaving the dress sleeveless.

Despite the more 'fashionable', though she knew them as slutty, dresses, she chose one that covered her chest, forming a full color around her neck. Around the collar was hung a necklace that held a rather stunning diamond amidst a gold Fleur-de-lys. Her dark red hair had been pulled back and set into a bun. It was held in place by a golden twine that had been set earlier in the day. Her earrings mirrored her necklace, hanging from their hooks by an equally stunning golden chain.

The only thing to offset the overall appearance was the scowl on her face. Over and over, it raced in her mind how much she was going to loathe this encounter. And even worse than being here and in this silly outfit were the two others with her. To bring her two Commissaires for a dinner date with this certain man was certainly disgusting. A few images of remembrance flashed in her mind. One of the times she and the prince were alone. Her lips curled back in disgust, baring her teeth at the memory.

She was going to hate every moment of this. "Or my name isn't Chloe Dupont," She murmured to the vow.
