"Well if she hadn't flushed her system she probably wouldn't have remembered it anyway," says Le Pimpernel.
The serving girl arrives with his new glass of wine.
"Although those flushes are never one hundred percent effective. Hopefully she'll still feel some of the more pleasant effects and thank me rather than poison me later on."
