That's starting to become a rather common story to hear. To all future applicants, if you're joining up just because you feel for the cause, losing your parents or having them betray you isn't a prerequisite to joining the Legion. Just be honest and come to us with your hope for a better Liberty.
If your parents did die, or did betray you, then feel free to say so. Just don't lie to make yourself sound tougher. It doesn't work in the long run.
