Background: BAF Personel File #463865: Ensign Angela Leigh
Born to a family of Bretonian origin living in Liberty, Angela Leigh was raised from a young age with her father's tales of fighting pirates and rogues among the debris fields of New York as a pilot in the Liberty Navy. After the Nomad war and her father's retirement from the navy things changed however. The family was shattered by a messy divorce and Angela's father left for a career in mining and then later freelancing, with his visits becoming ever less frequent and more mysterious.
Growing into quite the tomboy in her father's absence, Angela first intended to follow her father's example and join the Liberty Navy. With the outbreak of war between Bretonia and Kusari however, she experienced a surge of patriotic feeling for her familys homeland. Relocating to New London, she joined the Bretonia Armed Forces and began a career as a fighter pilot, excelling with the rarely used 'Paladin' heavy fighter. After some time in Bretonia however, Angela realised that while she and her comrades fought Kusari on one front, the understaffed BPA were struggling to keep order on the home front. She has recently filed for transfer to the Bretonia Police Authority.
