Elder Juan, we Corsairs at Cadiz have heard rumours of some kind of merger throughout the Corsair kingdom. Worst of all, with those unworthy to call themselves Corsairs! The rumours also state that you are heavily against said merger. If the rumours are true, you have the backing of the Salinas family of Cadiz. We have survived on our own, as Corsairs and Corsairs alone, for many centuries. This merger will disgrace our ancestors and bring shame to the Corsairs.
You can expect the Salinas family to fight against those who threaten our existance as a single unity.
