Today I launched my fighter on a routine patrol in New Tokyo. In few minutes I met up with Chūjō [KNF]Kagakagari.Takaya. There had been reports of a couple of Golden Chrysanthemum vessels in the system. Although Ion storms were strong at the moment, causing frequent navigation errors, we assumed thorough search of the system.
It wasn't long before the reports proved to be true. In a rather amusing fashion: Communication log excerpt:

After a while of the search, we found the Chrysanthemums in Honshu, near New Tokyo gate.
It was soon clear enough that they were looking for a fight, "a vengeance" as they called it. Communications log excerpt:

A fight ensued.
Exactly ten minutes later [GC]-Chi.Shimizu fell by the hand of Chūjō Takaya.
As the battle continued, ion storm became even worse than before. It blanked my systems for a short while, and when they came back online second Chrysanthemum was already fleeing in cruise few k's away. Since pursue was hardly possible due to space conditions, we let her go this time.
