Braking away form the handshake, Rheinhardt allowed Holliday to find a seat. Following suit, the Kanzler took his own. Nodding at the emissary's words, he spoke.

[font=Century Gothic]Herr Holliday, allow me to first of all welcome you to Rheinland. I am not aware of you visiting in a diplomatic capacity previously but I will say your reputation as a peace maker proceeds you.

[font=Lucida Console]The Kanzler motioned for a steward. Behind him, a well groomed man presented a silver tray containing two elegantly carved crystal glasses containing a clear liquid. Rheinhardt took one for himself, and took a small sip before setting the glass down. The steward offered Holliday the remaining glass while the Kanzler began to talk.

[font=Century Gothic]I do apologize for the great delay in your meeting me, however, it was unavoidable. Seeing as we have been delayed long enough, and the diplomatic situation is in Sirius is ever in motion, I do encourage you to take the lead in these talks if you are so inclined.
