Didnt get out too much today, did one patrol from hamburg to stuttgart. got word of a indy hessian cruiser around the lanes there. my wraith was not well enough equipped to take down such a massive ship so I spent the rest of the day Outfitting my Bergelmir Snubnose bomber. Will head out again tonight.

I linked up with Admiral Weissman and Gefreiter Franck in New Berlin after they finished dispatching a pair of VWA rebels. Admiral Weissman then brought us to Braunshweig for training.

The first part of the training consisted of a 3 way dogfight, where each pilot was assigned a target. I was to engage Admiral Weissman, He was engaging Gefreiter Franck and Ms. Franck was engaging me. we were not permitted the use of healing ordinance. The exercise started off strong and upbeat however i had to pause because of a malfunction in my targeting system. i repaired the problem and we resumed. at that point i learned that its very difficult to fight an individual who is not trying to hit you, especially with Firekiss'. I ran into 2 of the gefreiters mines and my wraith was in bad shape. Gefreiter franck wasnt looking too well either as the old admiral had plenty of spark left. we called off the exercise in order to save the ships.

The second part of the exercise was one on one training. the admiral pitted me and the gefreiter against each other. after a short time the gefreiter mistook the placement of one of her own mines and i quickly finished her off. The admiral then stated i was to fight him. I was beaten... badly. We concluded that part of training and began the next.

The admiral brought out a Guardian class libertonian fighter, armed to the teeth. i volunteered to take on the ship first and greatly underestimated its firepower, though it lacked agility. then i made the same tactical error as the Gefreiter and hit my own mine, leaving me powerless to the guardian. i was quickly overwhelmed. The gefreiter also went toe to toe against the guardian and lasted much longer than i did. after that fight was over we concluded the training session and docked on Mossele for debriefing.
