My name is Dietmar Schultz and I was born and raised on New Berlin. I am 19 years old and until recently studied Economics. My Mother passed away giving birth to me, and My father until his recent death worked for Republican Shipping.
My fathers death and subsequent government cover up are the reason behind my applying to join your organisation. I believed like many in the government until I realised it is all lies and corruption.
I was with my father on a routine run to Stuttgart when we encountered a disabled freighter sending out a distress signal. We approached the vessel and it was clear she had taking massive damage and my father agreed to transfer the crew onboard, which included several women and children. In total we picked up 12 people who were in a bad way.
Just as we preparing to leave 3 Military vessels appeared and ordered us to stop. They claimed to have disabled the freighter as the crew were believed to have aided the Red Hessian and delivered supplies. My father being a patriotic man asked the captain of the freighter who denied the allegations and claimed they had been victims of mistaken identity. My father asked the Military vessels for permission to transport the freighter crew to Planet Stuttgart where they could be handed over to the relevant authorities.
It was at this point my faith and belief in the Government and Military failed. The lead ship ordered his wingmen to open fire on us as we were traitors! We took several shots and the shield failed. My father attempted to reason with them on Comms but it was no use. I could here the Leader laughing as he ordered his men to destroy our ship 'No survivors he screamed'. My father ordered us to the escape pod, I grabbed the two smallest children and ran to the pods. At this point there was an almighty explosion and I know the Engines had been destroyed. We scrambled into the pod and jettisoned. As we drifted I saw our ship, my father and the remaining poor souls engulfed in a massive explosion which ripped the transport apart.
I now feared the worst 'No survivors' echoed in my ears. I saw the lead fighter turn towards us and I believed this was the end. At that very moment 2 Hesssian ships cruised into range and opened fire on the Military vessels, our saviours had arrived! As the Military vessels were distracted a 3rd ship tractored in our pod and quickly engaged cruise and we made our escape.
I searched the news networks for news of this terrible military action and was shocked to read "WOMAN and CHILDREN SLAUGHTERED. Republican Ship and Civilian freighter destroyed by cowardly Hessain Ships, no survivors"
I seek Justice and revenge not only for myself but the 2 children who survived who are now orphans thanks to the Murdering scum hiding behind a Military Title.
