If your trying to make this realistic, How would talking cardi make your armor on your ship less?
Instead just make the reaction time slower, Because thats usually what drugs do to you.

Or just make the drugs last for a certain time, and when it wares off, you become slower than normal.

I'm just throwing examples, nothing to be serious.

But it seems someone is viciously agaisnt me >.>
