That can be done too but it hasnt got anything to do. The original idea suposes inRP posibilities.

It can and does have RP possibilities, just not in the way you're thinking of. Think of it like a tournament, like the one in Dublin, except that was a race and this is a fight. For your idea to work, you don't actually need IDs, you just need a place and time to set it up. The champion has to defend their title every couple of weeks and if he/she loses, a new champion is crowned, so on and so forth. Yada yada, yalaalalalalalalla! Die! Champion also gets bragging rights I suppose? And you will have a number of champions based off each of the ship classes, allowing for them to spread the tournament far and wide.

An idea just popped into my head. Why not make an inter-house PVP championship? 5 house tournaments, taking place in each house respectively, with each tournament set up like suggested before, with a round robin and then quarters, semis and finals. Then allocate points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th position, decreasing as you go down in positions and then the one with the most points at the end of the 5th and final tournament earns the champions crown/cup.
