A funnystupid idea

Well ideally you want to give the ID's randomly to begin with. I mean regardless of who they start off with they'll eventually get to the best anyway. Plus it means people like me who arn't so great at PvP have the chance to get involved. Even if I only get to hold one of them for 10 seconds.

I think it would be more ideal if it was alongside your normal ID. Only unmountable (So you drop it on death) and parts of it override your normal ID. (Such as whos allowed to attack you and who you're allowed to attack)
