Kiriko came home after a long patrol, she was trembling a little and in need of her medicine, although not urgently she could feel the first signs of her illness progressing her head feeling woozy and so on, Leonardo and Shizuma were never home when Kiriko came back, out doing whatever parents did when you didn't see them. She spoke quietly and in a tired tone.

'na..Cly, we can just have a drink then we need to shower and go to bed.. Or we might...*she yawns loudly* be late for patrol tomorrow.. and, Silsbury-san we be mad, we don't want that.. na?'

An image of a downward pointing thumb emerges on the screen for a moment and is then gone, Kiriko nods and takes of her shoes at the door, walking to the kitchen wispily, Kiriko puts Cly down on the counter and she makes a drink of water from the tap and drinks it slowly, she finishes the drink and rubs her arm for a moment, then slowly leaves the kitchen and heads upstairs leaving Cly on the kitchen side accidentally.

Kiriko walked to her bedside table where Neko-kun lay, laying on its side she lifted him up and sat down on her bed, the water in the mattress giggled slowly beneath her, nearly feeling the bad feelings start she opens her arm and grits her teeth painfully and replaces her capsual, she breaths moderately and holds Neko-kun on her lap securely, she lay back on the bed and closed her eyes, too tired to do anything until the medicine started working fully.

'I'll just......res.t...fo.r...a....'

Too tired to finish the sentence even she drifted away to sleep...
The hours past and Kiriko slept soundly still in her police uniform clutching Neko-kun, the hour past midnight and a odd sound emanated from the kitchen. It was Cly, her designer and Kiriko's old friend had set a reminder into Cly's memory that today was Kiriko's 14th Birthday, she vibrated and sang happy birthday with a preset audio file. Kiriko didn't hear it, for she was far away, dreaming softly of things and people she loved.

Cly was busy singing, she sent a communication to people registered as friends, family, and co-workers. Mason Hargreaves, as part of the crew responsible for bringing Kiriko to Bretonia, always knew her life must have been awful from talking with the Karl Ackerman the Isocrates Cheif medical officer, (the man responsible for her metallic arm implant) he sends the Clytemnestra's 'Testament' AI periodic updates, and programmed Cly to tell as many people as possible so that Kiriko may finally have, a happy birthday.
