A mercenary group has, apparently, been contracted to halt all shipments of food and I quote "To the Corsairs" on behalf of an organization which is "mad at the Corsairs".
I would suggest inquiring with other organizations operating in the area if they too have had issue with these gentlemen. Given that they were closely patrolling both the Gamma and Theta jumpholes perhaps OSI would have some knowledge of these gentlemen.
Or perhaps not, as I understand that they were allowed to pass into Corsair space unmolested.
At any rate I was able to perform a customary shuck and jive of my tail in Omicron Kappa and proceed to Gamma for the dropoff without any further incident. Though the presence of these mercenaries gave cause for me to deviate from my normal path through Kusari space to that of Rheinland. I expect that the people of Crete will find the food of Rheinland no less nourishing than that of Kusari.
I would suggest probing the bounty listings to see if the employer of these obstacles might not be uncovered.
Oh well, despite the roadblocks again placed before the IND we've managed several dropoffs.
Now to less annoying news, several food shipments were made. Foodstuffs from Kusari and Rheinland both. I'm sure you'll find them far superior to goods delivered as an afterthought from Freeports that happened to be on the road between commercially attractive trade points. That'll be 30800 tonnes , bringing us to a total of 80860 in the last week.
