So a robber outside in the real world, would rather rob you off your grocery bag than your wallet?

Pirates demand cash AND cargo. Depending on the circumstances. Pirates want money, money comes in 2 forms. Money money and cargo money. Money money is the best because it's there at face value. Cargo money needs to be sold and converted into money money, which takes time and depending on the value of the cargo, may not be worth the trouble.

Pirates should demand money. People are doing it now. I don't see everybody flying around in Starfleas, they're not poor. Pirates have demanded money and everything is going fine, I see no point in restricting piracy to cargo only.

EDIT: Yeah, true. Pirate roleplay is horrible as of late. Too much 2milrdai.
