Ye the pirate shall wait 30 min till the trader msgs all possible police, navy , bounty hunters mercs and pirate enemies to kill him.
What if I have nobody to take the cargo for me right now? I take your money. It is actually much more simpler for both sides if traders pay with cash- Pirate does not need smugglers to smuggle the cargo, trader does need to re-spawn when the pirate demands all of his cargo and he refuses, hell traders must be happy that there are not a lot of real loot smugglers around because of the stupid 230-270cr/s smuggling runs, actually taking money is good bargain for the trader and bad for the pirate- pirate could have the whole amount of the traders worth if he had every time smuggler or 2 around, if the trader looses only small amount of the entire cargo worth then he should be happy.

But you know pirates does not RP at all and the rest of the bull and you are right.
