' Wrote:I also don't see why is Friday upset at Zelot. The person to talk to here is Igiss or the Development team as whole.
I would be greatly interested to what is going on with the dragons as well, since it appears that Kusari lost a chunk of forces fighting off the Gallic forces.
Although I agree that Kusari is far from wiped out, because it didn't lose much or any of it's core systems, the Dragons could attempt to do something there.
But saying that, I still don't see the reason to go after Zelot for this, I doubt he orchestrated the Kusari roleplay as whole.
Do not fear - this is a text-based medium, and some subtlety can be lost. Zelot merely happens to be posting there at the time - it could have been any of the rest of the development team.
What I was trying to say is that neither statement is mutually exclusive. People can be unique, have an effect on things, play the role given to them, and take on a role. They can do this on different characters, or in the same characters. People within the Dragons do indeed play that 'soldier' role, others express points of view that are considered radical - even by Dragon standards. Both of these are valid.
And as for lobbying - it is a very common practice. Everyone does it in one form or another - myself included. I simply dispute the notion of 'leaving it up to the players' = bad, as it attempts to establish a hierarchy between player and developer - whilst ignoring the fact that most developers are also players - hence creating a conflict of interest.
