Because they are abused and have very little rp, not to mention the pilots dont tend to rp or anything of the nature. They are simply pvp whores.

As an independant, I can buy a Liberty Navy ID and buy a Liberty Dreadnought without writing a single piece of RP. I dont even have to RP as a part of the Liberty Navy, jsut as a supporter. That, is the problem people see here.

and as such a indpendant person would not have access nor the funding to operate, maintain, or even own such a ship. Sorry, but last time I checked, average people dont get a M1A1 Abrams tank, jsut because they support the US Army on the side.

Why do you think that the independants should be pushed around because of the actions of others? They don't take responsibility for each other's actions most of the time, and shouldn't have to.

No. You can't just buy a normal LN ID and a dreadnought without writing a single piece of RP. You need a guard ID for that.

No. But in-role play, they're not independant, so they don't have that problem.

what fun you have when you have to counter 2 BS with 1 GB and 2 bombers? I don't like to see an fleet of BS on the filed of combat.

Gank happens. That doesn't mean you should nerf an entire class over it.

some people want total eliination of battleships

others want restrictions,

some want power ups.

Obviously the community and the people here vary far too greatly to come to a single solution to the issue, so this thread is going absolutely no where.

I think it should be locked at this point.

Same applies to most of the threads about them, sadly.
