I am writing to you to volunteer myself, my services, and my life to your cause. I don't know my real name, but I go by Double Tap - a nickname I earned in prison. I have heard of many applicants that have had their lives taken from them by the oppression of the Rheinland Corporations: I have not. There are many that have lost their families unjustly: once again, this is not me. I have never met my parents, family, don't even know where I was born. I have never known what it was like to lose all that you have, for I have never had a thing.
But I have seen it.
I have spent my life migrating to many bases and planets, only to see the pathetic excuse of a government that rules this domain. I have spent time in poverty and prisons, in riots and revolts; there has not been a time where I have felt at peace in where I would call home.
So I seek a new home. If you take me in, I swear that I will stand for all that you stand for. I will plunder and thieve, and take back what is rightfully ours. I will fight for all that you fight for. You will have another pilot in your ranks that knows no fear, only glory. I will need no money, I have fended for myself all of these years, I see no need to change this now. I need nothing from the Red Hessian Army apart from the right to fight by their side. I will wear the colours with pride, and make you proud.
