A visit to Mr. Raines's Office

Simon jogged down the streets of Manhattan with a weighted backup, preparing for the next annual relay race competition held in his local district. He stopped for a second at an intersection and awaited his turn to cross the road when the hover-cars had cleared. The streets were, for the most part, calm that day, he was the only one to cross and felt a little embarrassed being stared at with little to no clothes on and bookbag running down the street and onto the sidewalk.

"Gotta keep running! Gonna train hard!"

He was on the other side, where stores and shops began popping up, first looking more run-down but as he got further within the city the buildings got taller and more professional business places appeared. This was Simon's usual routine, he enjoyed the thrill of working out and seeing the sights.

"OOF!"

"Hey, watch it punk! I'm trying to walk here!"

"Ow! Er, sorry! Sorry sir!"

He rubbed his head after accidentally bumping into one of the pedestrians walking, for he had not realized he was in the inner city already, which was much more heavily populated and thus he could not run further. He began walking, looking around and smiling at all the hussle and bussle of the world. He knew there was evil in Sirius, but for a moment, the tall structures and the booming businesses made him feel safe and calm. Simon used this time to relax, walk around, and finish his errands for the week. He approached the entrance to a tall building, a professional judicial building to be exact. The guards at the front stepped in front of him and asked him to show them his security card. He remembered it was in his pocket and quickly whipped it out and let them scan it. The doors opened, and he proceeded inside the fancy building. When suddenly something hit him.. He stood out. Dressed in small shorts and a small shirt with a weighted backback, he probably was going to attract to much attention. He thought to himself, then shrugged and decided to proceed to the counter. The check-in counter was to the right, and the electronic security scanner was to the left in front of the elevator.

"Hello ma'am! It's me, Simon! I'm here to speak with Mr. Raine, we had an appointment."
